Do you teach all ages?
Yes, we teach a range of students...from ages 5 up to 75.

How much does it cost?
Your tuition depends on how many classes you are enrolled in.

Discounts are available if you bring another enrollee into the program. Scholarships are also available for special needs students who show great acting potential.

Is your program a specific length?
Each level of courses lasts 6 weeks with a 3-hour class 1 day a week. The overall length of your study is dictated by what skills your performance goals require, and how long you require to learn those skills.

What is the school's goal?
Our aim is to train the students thoroughly so that they can reach their respective performing goals.

Are there basic rules I should know about the classes?
BE ON TIME and stay for the ENTIRE class.

Pay attention to the teacher.

Turn off all Beepers and Cell phones.

Respect fellow actors by being attentive and quiet.

Be fully prepared for the class and concentrate in the classes by being "in the moment."

There is always time to do the things we most enjoy, and attending Jimmy Whispers Acting School will be one of the most enjoyable experiences of your life. We have accomodating and flexible class schedules (including evenings and weekends) to suit any lifestyle. In fact, the type of student most likely to attend our school is the type of person who is most involved in extra-curricular activites and creative pursuits.

Can Jimmy Whispers help me overcome my shyness and low self-esteem?

Perhaps you cannot see yourself performing in front of a large crowd of people right now because you do not have the confidence, but Jimmy Whispers can help you with that so you can achieve all of your goals. Whether or not you attend Jimmy Whispers to pursue acting, or you need to build your confidence, we can help. Our training is something that will benefit you throughout your life.

If I enroll in Jimmy Whispers Acting School, can I be sure I will become a successful actor?

Just as attending Harvard Law School is no promise that you will become a successful lawyer, Jimmy Whispers cannot promise its students a successful career in acting. However, if you have what it takes to be a successful actor, we can help you reach that dream. Furthermore, even if you do not pursue acting, the benefits of your training will give you the skills needed to succeed in acting or any other career you may ultimately choose.

How did the school get the name "Jimmy Whispers"?

The name "Jimmy Whispers" comes from the character Clem Caserta played in the mob movie "A Bronx Tale" directed by Robert DeNiro.
